DATE: Georgian, c.1820

Charming Georgian memorial brooch dating from the early 19th century, circa 1820. Somewhat unusually, the coral "petals" are each carved, possibly to look like a plume of feathers. They're arranged around a central locket compartment, currently home to a woven lock of hair - two colours indicating two people... husband and wife, mother and daughter... we'll never know.

Good, some light/general wear commensurate with age including a couple of dings to the back
